I've recently moved my RN site to a new host / domain. I moved all of the files carefully and exactly, using Beyond Compare to ensure that everything was complete.

I created a new database, imported all of the data into it, and modified my config file accordingly.

The site is running, albeit with some DB connection errors in my blocks. I can chase all of these down / fix them later.

My big problem is that members can not log in. Every attempt is met with "Login Incorrect! Please try again." Furthermore, I can't log in to the site admin.

I found some instances of the old URL in the database... nuke_config table, etc which I have changed to reflect the new URL, but still no joy.

Can anyone point me in the right direction... anything else that I need to change / fix in order to get my site going again?

Thanks in advance.

Make sure you have deleted ALL cookies that point to your OLD url and cleared your cache.

If that is not the issue then check your server error log to see if that shows any errors. Also turn error reporting on and see what errors may be being reported.

I am also guessing that on the new server they may not have the PHP sessions set up correctly. The session file may not be getting written. That may or may not show up in the logs... cannot recall. But, that is a common setup issue which can cause this symptom.

Meoff did you solved this ?

I had a similar issue and had to move to an other host with an other PHP version to be able again to log in as admin.
Itīs like Montego said the permission tmp/sessions where not correct and I couldnītīt change this.
