Skimming

Didn´t know the word for this kind of manipulation before but and I just lost money through skimming. Evil or Very Mad

It´s unbelievable how fast the scammer work. They usally need to do the transaction from overseas because it will not work in my country.

My wife used to work at a bank within their credit fraud department. You would be amazed at what goes on. Sad

I don´t believe anymore it was skimming.
I´ ve never been in Spain and don´t use Miles&More but it looks like this manipulation:

Once credit card details have been skimmed the details are then sold on and cloned cards can be produced.

You are right. Also its not possible to protect everything because there is a large criminal industry operating worldwide.
If you use your card online, and the most need this, you can´t be sure everything goes well.
No, I don´t speak about pishing because this is an other issue with online banking. Evil or Very Mad
