How do I get Zen Cart to recognize phBB in reading the docs I saw this ability which is why I chose Zen Cart over oscommerce. I assumed that to mean that once a person logs into the portal they are also logged into the cart.

I think you'd need to address this over in the Zen Cart forums on their site. I have installed Zen Cart separately from RN and used it that way but I never saw any integration links. Not saying there are none, I just didn't see them. Also, even if there is some kind of linkage between PHPBB and Zen Cart, it may not carry over to RN without some extra work.
