I wanted to give analytics a try on my nuke site. I've never tried it with nuke and was wondering if anyone had good/bad experiences? Is there a recommended location to place the tracking code?
Thanks! |

Well it works, I've used it on a couple of sites.
You can paste the code via the WYSIWYG editor in the preferences, or alternatively you can use a custom_footer.php.
This has been discussed before so you might want to do a search also. |

Yeah the search for "google analytics" didn't bring anything up, or maybe I didn't dig deeply enough into the search results on here. I hadn't thought of using the WYSIWYG editor in code mode, so that would probably work well and be easier to access if I want to remove it.
I'll give er a try. Thanks! |

If you add an "and" between the two words it will narrow the results down.

I do as well, and I definitely use the custom_footer.php to do it.
Edited: Sorry, forgot to mention: just realize that folks that use something like NoScript as a plug-in to FF, or other such JS killers, it won't log their hits. I still find myself comparing Google Analytics with my control panel's AWStats to get both views. |
