well i have several Polish friends I'm going to try to convince to help (no guarantees), but I knew if they had to fish for the files they probably wouldn't do it. So I took the liberty of stripping out just the language files from the current distro.
Maybe these will inspire you to take advantage of your bilingual friends too

IMO what would be needed is a sub-forum "Language packs" with topics for each language, edited as the files need to be updated. |
I was referring to a support forum , but hey , they can also make a specific topic per language.
Thanks for passing by toast ...help will be greatly appreciated |

Are there really no dutch translations at all? Or are they just not in the 2.4.0 package? |

There are no up-to-date dutch language files available for 2.4.0 because nobody finished a translation for Dutch. We are still looking for translators. Therefore if you are willing to help use the current RavenNuke version and the english lang files to translate the files in in dutch. |

I have updated Susann's first post with a link to a PDF that shows the current state of the translations within RavenNuke. I will work on getting a current package that only contains the language files. |

Currently is a verry very hard duty to get a complete translation of a nuke ecosystem, and that also includes ravennuke, to have to manually browse files and start digging into an infinite three of folders to get the job done and you also need to have from medium to high php skills. I know this would not be something easy to accomplish but I'll like to see an online collaborative tool to help us get translations on the way, so people from all around the world without any tech skill can help translating just by using a browser... GlotPress [ ] is getting a very interesting tool to try |

I forgot about them because they are not in the package. If I remember right they are very incomplete. That is why they got removed last time. I'll take a look and see what we got.
Other than the admin, instillation and core I only have 4 modules translated and I am not even sure they are fully translated. |

Since I do not speak any other language, I could only help if my translation program would translate the text properly. As a test I picked out the sample and ran the translation for French. As you can see there is a difference, but I have no way of telling if it is way off, close, acceptable, etc. If the translation is acceptable, then I could do a language that is lacking help.
If you included any URLs, be sure to validate and test them for typos.

Etes-vous sûr d\'inclure un URL ? Avez-vous verifié la typo. ? |

eldorado, check you pm, I sent you a complete translation done via my translation program. If this is good enough, then it can be done via web browser for many languages. |

Some syntaxic bugs and minor grammar ones , but the overall is correct. Have fun.
|
Based on Elderado's evaluation of how my translation program did, I will start doing some after the holidays. If anyone wants me to do particular ones, just pm me. Because of the syntac and minor grammer errors that will occur, each will need to be reviewed and corrected by someone that is familiar with that particular language. |
