Hi,

I just got this notification email:

Quote:
http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/modules.php?name=Private_Messages&file=index&folder=inbox

Can you see what is wrong about it?

If you don't let me point it to you:

The use of & for &.

This is a good technique to make your page HTML compliant, but my suggestion is that the email link be change to more standard form for all browsers:

Quote:
http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/modules.php?name=Private_Messages&file=index&folder=inbox

Thank you,

Emil,

I don't follow. & is the correct syntax for all & that are not an entity, whether in links or in text. Please explain your reasoning.

Thanks,
Raven

Hi Raven,

What I was trying to say was that the email client is displaying the code & instead of just & for the ampersand.

Thank you,

So you are just referring to the possibility of confusion? If so, I could see that Smile. Actually, the Team is discussing this very issue right now in one of our Mantis issue discussions so I think it will probably be changed. Thanks!

Confusion in the eyes of a user who isn't aware of why &file=index&folder=inbox is used. So, if it confuses them, then the presentation could/should be changed Wink
