I just don't like the use of the "marquee" tag. Does that validate?

Nope, and says so even within the up-front comments. I didn't want to introduce yet possibly another DHTML version nor mess with potentially conflicting onload events, etc. (Since Content Plus isn't just for RN... which, BTW, if we do incorporate with RN, then WE can control the scrolling code and use a common implementation, hence was just going to change at that time). Therefore, I took the approach of "make the admin make the trade-off between compliance and scrolling".

Today I hope that the new version (RN 2.5) also includes in the core this block along with content plus.
