i'm thinking of make an online editor to create language files at will.
This should save aloth of time.
We once had one for osc2nuke, i will see if i can find it back and edit it to use for php-nuke.

@Brincas: Thanks so much! Please make sure to base it on v2.30.02 Smile

@wHiTeHaT: Can you provide a little more detail as to how this would work?

ive searched 5 hours for it on my disks but couldnt locate it.
Theoraticly it read the chars for example:
define('_ACTIVE','Active');
untill the ,
From there it is able to edit all between '.....'
I think bruno still have it somewhere.
We once included it in a version so it must be around.

I started to write something similar a while ago but had to put it to one side.
It had access permissions based on a user log-in and languages were allocated to the user so they could only edit specific languages or files.
Users did not physically edit files though, everything was stored in a DB (easier to back-up) and I was going to write a routine for creating and writing the physical language files controlled by the 'manager'.

I'm not sure I unserstand what you are asking, but a php file can be edited with any text editor. I use Notepad++.
