I installed RavenNuke 2.30.01 on my server and I followed all steps. However, when I go to the site, the security code doesnt show up. It shows as a broken image link (on IE, on FireFox it shows the text "Security Code"). Due to this I cant log in and fix anything. On top of that it gives the following error on about all pages: "Sorry, that module file was not found."
the site is:
I hope anyone can help me.
Thanks in advance |

I think both these issues are related and caused by missing or corrpt files.
If your target server is *nix based (as against a windows server) re upload the files again making sure your ftp software is set to upload in BINARY mode - not auto or ascii |

Thanks. The pages show fine now, but the captcha problem still remains. Any idea on how to fix that? |

Try re-uploading the includes/fonts/ directory again. I t looks like it isn't picking them up for some reason. |

I think it is an .htaccess problem because this link should be saying access denied not the Module is not Active screen.

Do you have an htacces file in your includes folder? If so delete it. If you don't, make a backup of your main htaccess file in the root of your site and delete it. Then see what happens. |

It seems that it indeed was the .htaccess file in the root of my site. I removed it and it all works fine now.
Thanks for the help.
However, wont having deleted the .htaccess file cause other problems? |

You need to contact Raven who is your host. |
