Upgrading to the new release, and bam! problems at first hurdle.
Firstly started with the changes stated in the security log, everything fine until Your Account updated, and i get this error message:
ERROR: YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOU DATA BASE TABLE NOW!!
Run rnya.php from the root of your phpnuke installation, update the database tables, and delete the file afterwards!
The version of the module is 2.30.01 and the version of your data base table is 2.3.0.
Searched contents of download and can not find this file the error refers to, to upgrade db tables.
Any chance of any ideas please? |

Did you run the rndb_upgrade.php file in the INSTALLATION directory?
If you are upgrading that is the file you need to run first and then the rndb_upgrade_nukesentinel. |

Well to be honest jakec, i'm not going to lie, i never done an upgrade before.
Initially i paid my host fee's to install RN for me, as they had never heard of it, and i'm not all that advanced, but i am willing now to put my effort into the upgrades.
Of course though where does a beginner start, than at the bottom with manual files, found the upgrade.html files in the HowToInstall folder, so will continue from these.
Thanks anyway, if there is anything else, i know the best community is here.
xx Bless xx |

Yes, the HowToInstall files are a good place to start. |

As far as I know this was fixed because of this entry:
So I´m not sure what you did to get the same issue again. |

The rndb_upgrade.php script that is part of the upgrade process fixes this problem. If you run this you won't have the problem. The instructions are in the how to install manual that come with the distribution ... under upgrading. |
