Sharing Users across sites

Hi all,

I am trying to share users across sites.

What is confusing me is that the sites are using entirely different databases.

for example I want to share the users from site A with those of Site B

the user prefix are the same but they share different user names and password across the databases.

I have read the instructions in the nuke how to but and still confused.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are using two entirely different databases, it cannot be done easily (if at all).
You would need to have them using the databases; have them access to separate sets of a tables (different prefix values) but the same user table prefix to access one user table.

thanks evaders ... thats what I was afraid of .... if any one has any ideas though please let me know.
