Install 2.30.01 fresh or upgrade for security reasons also version 2.20.01 is without RNYA. |

I use only the standard and this works for me well. Your free host could be the problem donīt know. You also need to change the settings for mail in the forums configuration.
Use the search also because several people asked a similar question already before. |

Sounds like your host has things pretty tight on their end. Send a quick support ticket and request the information from them.... providing the free host even has support =/ They may also not be allowing send mail from your server. You may require a couple of changes in your php.ini file (which your host will have access too - providing there not a reseller).
Some of those may be:
register_globals = On
error_reporting = Off
display_errors = Off
SMTP= change it to the address of your mailserver e.g ( localhost )
magic_quotes_gpc = On
Just a suggestion to try.. but typically free hosts will not do this for you.
### magic_quotes_gpc is not required to be set to on ### |

Well that would be because the e-mail and username has been stored in the database... but the server is not sending e-mails as i believe its because of my and other previous posts... contact your web host |

Let's back up a bit. Turn tego mailer off via the admin screen. Turn the forum mailer off also. Just use the standard php mail() function and see if new members receive a mail when they register. |

Everything looks fine to me to be honest.

As im not a user of rn 2.3.1 im not sure, but there may be an option in the Admin of Your_account module which should be under 'users' in admin.
Or use NSN Your_Account which has the ability to remove the registration activation... although this does not fix your problem, i would rather get your mail problem fixed Have you contact your host with regards to the send mail issue? out of interest |

Again RNYA isnīt included in version 2.20.01 if you donīt have a higher RN version you are missing a lot of cool features of RavenNuke Your Account (RNYA).
Your settings for the modul Your Account are correct.
Looks like we are going here in circles. |
