Is there a version of NSN Group Downloads that is compatible with RN V2.20.00?
Thanks!

No because NSN Groups is already fully integrated with RavenNuke Wink

Maybe I'm having a delusional moment, but I thought there was a hack to restrict particular downloads or categories to specific groups. But then again maybe I'm thinking of something else.

Groups is integrated into RN, but NSN Group Downloads isn't integrated. Haven't tested it, but it should work with RN.

Sorry I misread your post.
I am using NSN Groups Downloads with Raven Nuke without problems.
I believe you can get the Raven Nuke compatible files from

Thanks. I tried a script from the nukescripts.net repository at Sourceforge and it didn't work for some reason. It gave an error screen to run a database configuration and then I got a few blank screens on some other links. I'll get to Montego's site and try that one.

Thanks again!

Okay, I've tried several things get NSN Group Downloads to install on a new site with RN 2.20.00. No matter what I do when I run the installer it goes directly to the home page and if I click on the Downloads link I get this message

Database Error. Please notify the webmaster to run their downloads configuration!

Anybody have any ideas. I'm to the point where I'm going to scrap the whole site and start from scratch again. Even Bob tried installing it on his server with no trouble. Am I the only one this is happening to?

Thanks for everyone's assistance.

Yes, Bob actually pointed me to the correct files and I went from there with no change.

I'll take one more shot tonight and if that doesn't work I'll get back to you by PM. Thanks.

I installed and its ok in general.

I got i a weird &nbsp in New Downloads section:

· 2008-02-26&nbsp(51)
· 2008-02-25&nbsp(0)

i also got this in my dblog:

Table 'user_database.nuke_mail_config' doesn't exist
SQL was: SELECT * FROM nuke_mail_config

i think this error cames from submit downloads / downloads module because my submited files were aproved and i didnt receive any e-mail..

I'll have to fine the code I changed to fix the New Downloads issue as I do not see this on my site.

The nuke_mail_config error has nothing to do with NSN Downloads. Just click on the TegoNuke Mailer icon/link within the administration control panel and then it will go away. Wink

Yes, I remember when I validated and translated the files there was an issue somewhere with &nbsp and I forgot to inform Bob because it was the orignal download. Anyway its only peanuts to correct this.

I just installed this & did the hack but no CAPTCHA is showing up.

rnconfig has
'Downloads' =>3 already in there

Any idea where I went wrong please?

Well, that part of rnconfig is for putting the captcha on the original downloads module. I'm not familiar enough with NSN downloads to know if it has a captcha or not.
