I doubt there is one, but you could make one that grabs the info from a job centre website or similar if you know some php.
Or easier still, maybe there is some RSS feeds for jobs, then you could just open a new rss block to that addres.

Do what I said to start with, locate a good rss source feed. Here is one for jobs in London, England.

Now you find one for the area you need, go to block admin, add new block, then put your .xml link in the RSS/RDF file URL: box.

GanjaUK hey thanks, what I'm wanting to do is more start my own agency with the focus employment for those 40 years of age plus.

In Australia there is currently agency discrimination regarding age.

Thanks for your suggestion I should have probably elaborated more at the start.

As a by the by love the avatar - thats a tomatoe plant of course Smile

lol thanks!

Could you not just use the news module to post new jobs, and have the old articles block on your main page or something similar? Good luck with your agency.

Ganja - thought about that and theres more work that needs to be put into it - an employer needs to be able to browse through applicants and applicants need to be able to browse easily for jobs.

We will be reverse discriminating in a way so it would be nice to do it right with minimal effort - if you imagine handling potentialy many hundreds of inquirys per day - its a pretty big task.

Cheers.. and thanks.

I think Xia (Author of Friend Finder) has one out. I can't speak to the actual module I've never tried it at all.

for anyone thats interested.

My question is basically does anyone know of this module working in phpnuke ?

The standalone is sort of a standalone but is dependant on postnuke from what I can see.

Any help appreciated or if anyone sees a module for phpnuke that is similar give me a hollar..

Cheers

Richard, I have left you a PM with my email address, I'm asking a lot but if you have this module could you email it to me.

I cant access this web sites downloads section I have no idea why..

If you dont have it is ok - or at least maybe a direct link to it.

Im using nuke on its own ... I think the original format of software is much better - I went to the trouble of instaling postnuke and its a different program almost..

The hack I somehow dont think was done with keeping it together.. my humble opinion only.

The good thing about having it in 2 modules is that you have more control of who accesses is .......if you have groups then only assign the Employer section for access by employers etc.

I see having it split as a good thing. But it all depends on your purpose.

Dont forget this module will contain sensitive information on peoples lives.........any extra protection must come first in this case.

Regards

Richard.

PS Ideally chatserv type patches need to be used to fix this module up, unfortunately the files contained within the module are HUGE - I just havent found the time to do it.......even then Im uncertain that it will be secure enough (ideally ANY such module should be behind SSL)

As it stands, Im waiting for the guys at oscnukelite to adopt sha1 along with the protection of a modifed shopping cart - (considering it can be setup for SSL) it just seems a natural progression to learning about it and then implement the SSL for Carrer dual in a similar way.

Of couse - i still havent gotten around a base64 error cookies problem with it ....so it could be awhile.

I can't argue with your logic there at all.

Speaking of Chatserv - he would have to be one of the smartess blokes about re: phpnuke and php in general..
