I wouldn't claim a lot of experience. I just look at code too much
In the bbtopics table, there is a row with a topic_id for each topic.
You'll need the topic id and edit that row. There's a field topic_replies that shows how many posts are a part of that topic. If you edit that number, you should be able to get the pagination to work. |

Sounds like some of your posts got reassigned to different user_id's other than the ones they are suppose to. I am assuming this was an upgrade?
Try this.
Upload these files to the correct directory structure I have them in and then go to your forums admin area. Then go to the Users Admin area and click on Users Post Sync option that appears. What this will do is resync your posts to the correct user_id, unless that user has been deleted or the upgrade changed his user_id.

a quick update , deleted alot of old old posts. did what loki download does seams to work a treat well on the backup anywyas not taking any chances this time. i`ll try and do more this weekend and try and track down this error once and for all.
if anything i`ve learnt alot about mysql and phpmyadmin interesting learning curve.
mind numbing ..aleast i know how to cure my insomnia.  |
