Hi guys,

I have been toying with this one for a while. Basically, I need it so that there is a pre-set html template in the submit news module(Preferably the html pop-up module)

Basically, what I want them to see is the WYGIWYS equivelent of this html code

Code:

<table border="0">
<tr>
<td valign="top">Write your article/news/submission here......<br />
<br />
</td>

<td valign="top"><img width="170" height="150" border="0" src="IMAGE URL HERE" /></td>
</tr>

<tr>
<td colspan="2">Source: <br />
</td>
</tr>

</table>

That way my users can simply change the image url and paste their news??

I have searched the module files but cannot seem to get anywhere with it.

Any suggestions?

You should be able to do this within modules/Submit_News/index.php. Within function defaultDisplay() you could add a variable that has the HTML code you listed below and then pass that into the 'story' or 'storytext' textarea field.

For example, let us say you chose to add the HTML above to a new variable called $nukeStoryText. You would simply replace:

wysiwyg_textarea('story', '', 'NukeUser', '50', '12');

with

wysiwyg_textarea('story', $nukeStoryText, 'NukeUser', '50', '12');
