K.

I have tried all the above. The INSTALLATION folder and all folders beneath are set to 755, and files are 644

the structure is as you have above, but with two extra files.

rndb_upgrade.php
rndb_upgrade_nukesentinel.php

I have re-upload the INSTALLATION folder BINARY and even removed .htaccess and tried, no go, and re-uploaded .htaccess and tried again. still not go.

I can get to

What about ownership? If none of this works then you will need to contact your host.

excuse my ignorance but ownership ? I thought that this is what the permissions was all about..

PS.

Plus it did work the very first time I up loaded the content, steps 1 to 5.. but step 6, 6a,6b, etc. did not so i re-uploaded it again to see if it would work, and this is when my real problem started..

Nope. files/folders have both ownership and permissions. If for some reason the ownership of the INSTALLATION file is somehow not correct then that could be causing the problem. If you are not able to view the owner and group settings then you will need to contact your host and explain your issue.

No, it's not with shared hosting. Please check with your host to see what anomaly is causing this Smile

Well everything that I have read say to up load everything again. You all know that I do not want to do this as I feel that I will run into the same problem has I had before..

Sad

ps.

Now if I up load everything again. Will I still need to do the set up again as I already have the tables set up in Sql ? Or could I just re-upload the admin folder ?

Ps,PS.

As it is now I have 111 table(s) & 67,882 records in the DB

So I say odd but let's give it a try. It works great as last time, I was able to get all six parts done once again on the install.

But once again when I go to

Blank page...

So what do you all think it could be... This is getting old.. Why I can up load FB's Nuke 8.0 with no problem, But RN is giving me the problems I am having. My DB is populated all is well there, I received all messages as completed. You all say it's easy, but here it is not. Everything that you have all said about this has been tried more then once.

Thanks all for putting up with me on this...

Now I know I will have more questions later when it come to migrating Nuke 8.0 to my new RN system, but first I am going to take a look around the new system and set up NukeSentinel...

Thanks Gregexp....

To let everyone know that the problem was, the server did not see the directory that I mad for the RN site. Even though FileZilla let me see the directory the server did not, so this is why I was unable to do the install. The funny thing is, I made a few directory and none of them worked, well it does not matter now all is well other then my NS .htacces issue. I have made the post in the NS section of the forums.. To RN cat's A BIG THANK YOU, you are right, RN is simple to set up if the server is behaving, lol. Now on to NS..

Due to your particular issue, I have to ask, why are things not doing their Jobs?

I mean how in the world does your host have your server setup?

I would honestly sudjest you find a decent host. If your paying for hosting, this would aggravate me.

I'm sorry to say but as you could probably see from previous posts, I have no tolerance for hosts that do not have what I would call a workable server.

I hope this is the end of your problems but I seriously doubt it.
