I keep getting spam submissions to my links, news submissions etc...
Is there any way of stopping my site getting spammed like this ?
I assume there's abot scanning the site looking for ways to submit crap 
Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated !

Require membership to submit. that will stop most of it. |

Have you assigned those modules to registered users only?
To stop completely, no.
