Hi,

in this question I'm not asking for final solution, but for few tips. Becouse I that there isn't any magic script Smile

Right now my site is running on PhpNuke Platinum 7.6 with tons of modifications.

Now the time has come to upgrade my site to RavenNuke 2.10.00 but I realy don't know how can I start it. Size of my SQL database is now over 250MB and it's not easy to check every table manualy.

I would be realy grateful if you give me any tip that would make my work easier.

Thank you!

mySQLdiff has been mentioned here a few times. This will allow you to compare two databases and generate SQL to alter your database.

Sadly Platinum comes with lots of mods. It would be a lot of work, but its not impossible.
Go through it step by step, get back to original phpNuke 7.6 and then upgrade from there

What if I use original Platinum database and go through whole site checking errors.

What do you think about this? Smile

If you have the capabilities of setting up a test site with standard platinum and changing it over to Rn210 would show you what will or won't work without messing up your production site. Still wouldn't be 100% guarantee depending on what modifications you have done to your production site, but it would give you some idea as to what you would have to do.

If you wanted to take the long way around to get to RN2.10. I made a procedure to get from platinum to RN2.02. Then you could go from RN2.02 to RN2.10 using their procedure.

I simply went table to table, what was extra in platinum(futurenuke) I deleted. Fixed all the indexes and exported table by table. Then for certain I knew everything was moved over. Took me about 1-1.5 hours not that bad. I've done a lot worse things. Being experienced these days at this, I saved the original Raven accounts I created and imported the rest from the old site. Raven Nuke is nice and clean and hopefully more secure!
