nukeWYSIWYG 2.3.2 (with FCKeditor 2.3.2) is on the way. The updated editor offers many improvements - including a maximize the editor function , improved compliance and improved speed.

However, there are a couple of additions I'm not sure we should include in nukeWYSIWYG or RavenNuke. One is the preview function that allows you to preview the HTML within the editor. Since most functions in Nuke already provide this function, it would be merely for convenience and it might be confusing because it wouldn't use the CSS / theme functions for formatting. I'm leaning against it, but thought it would be helpful to open it for discussion.

Another function is the spell check reference. This only works with IE (it's grayed out in FF). Even with IE, it requires IESpell. This might be useful, unless very few people would use it.

Finally, there is a pagebreak button, that inserts a page-break-after style that forces a page break when printing. Not sure how useful that would be for Nuke stuff - but I don't think there are any problems adding it.

Thoughts?

I would skip the spell check due to the dependencies.

The page break would be nice if it's a quickie.

I agree with the rest of your assessment.

I haven't done any time comparisons yet, but it seems faster.
