I want to thank everyone for all the great compliments you have sent me via feedback and email on this script. I am giving it a forum of its own and would ask that you now post here instead. I hadn't planned to do anything more with the script, but I have had requests to enhance it. I know that many of you use it with Protector and I don't want to rebuild the wheel so I am not out to do anything like that. However, I have received several requests in 2 main areas. One is for an automatic addition to .htaccess and the other is for a block to be dynamically updated when a predator is caught. So, I am attaching a poll to this announcement and would appreciate your participation. Also, if you have other things you would like to see in the script, please leave comments. Thanks! |

If I had any idea what you're talking about I just might! What exactly is that trackback? I've heard about it but never looked into it. You can start another thread elsewhere if you want. Thanks! |

My misunderstanding of what is refered to as Trackback. Is a central server that when subscribed users post new stories they have the option of submitting to the central location in their prescribed category under their username.
Other users can link to submitted stories of selected sites.
More or less a glorified subscribed dynamic RSS feed I believe.
Someone could correct me if I'm wrong. I assume these host servers are under a lot of stress and such programs require substancial support  $'s. |
