donation module

Hey guys,

I have been totaly working my ass off (yeah go get some Razz

) to get my donation module to work.

I used 2 version of treasury to get it working. And basicly only party successful. It claims on the test part that i have done it all right. The paypal has the IPN enabled. People can donate and yes i get the money but no feedback is returned to my database.

I am totaly totaly totaly clueless. Also i cant find any donation module/block while i see plenty around working. Even on this page.

Can you PLEASE send me or guide me to a working one?

Had to get the config.inc.php to the ipn directory to make it work. Then i changed the connection info to:
$fp = fsockopen ('ssl://www.paypal.com', 443, $errno, $errstr, 30);

It is passing all the tests. However, idont get any data...

Again.any working module mentioned is welcome... its 3 days of frustration aldready Sad

Your hosting provider may not be allowing open sockets to remote sites.

Make sure you have your paypal settings correct in your paypal profile.

Followup on this.. waiting on a nice working block someday.. I just installed the same one as the fellow above.. when I check reconcile I get this..

Have you set your database connection info in the Donations config.php?

This Donation module is not safe. If someone hack your module the whole site is gone because of one module. It is an old module and we should get rid of the way this module is calling the database with this file config.php. I advice everyone to use Guardian's Donation module.
