Backdating News in 6.9+

Is there a rewrite/mod that will allow programmed stories to be backdated?

Can you give a 'for instance'? How and why would you use/need this?

Just backdating the New Stories submitted by admin level submitters.

I thought that was the only thing where a choice of programming was available by selection.

I just added a news item and selected to program the story and backdated it to 1/1/2004 and it backdated it. Is that not what you're referring to?

What changes in the code did you make?

I'm using your 6.9 nuke (no mods/changes) and it won't allow me to backdate anything.

I didn't make any changes at all and I'm using the same 6.9 distro Confused
