I have a site where a user is set up as any other user. All the other bbcode and html tags work in the signatures - his does not. Even a simple
Code:
[b]Hello[/b]
will not work. It works in the preview window but not in the final post. I'm at a loss here folks. Any ideas?

Well I'm guessing you've already checked the simple stuff .. but to make sure

- Is he going through the Forums Profile?
- Does the Forums Configuration have "Allow BBCode" on?
- Standard clean BBToNuke files... includes/bbcode.php , modules/Forums/posting.php ?
- He doesn't have "Disable BBCode in this post" checked on posting does he?

All good ideas but checked out already. It is so very puzzling. As I said, it previews just fine.

Be interesting to see what the cause is. I personally dislike the serial# added to the tag bit.

If its in the database correctly, then something on the viewtopic is not parsing correctly

Here is what the sig is showing - I'm using html tags right now but the bbcode tags produce the same results

HTML is On

Great article, one that definitely won't
be picked up by the mainstream press.

So its not a server issue? If you install clean phpNuke, it doesn't do this?
And it doesn't do it for any other user?

All other users work. It's not a server issue.
