Hi i currently run my site [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] with nuke 7.6 along with several blocks including Shout Box version 8.0 all of which seemed to run fine together untill i installed the Forums Collapsing block.
Now i have a small problem,and i am sure it is a small one.
The problem is that since installing the Forums Collapsing block , the writting on the shout box has stopped working + scrolling when on the home page , but yet if you got to another page so that the Forums Collapsing block is not in use the shout box starts to work again normally, then if you go back to the home page again the shout box stops working again:(.
yet if i deactivate the Forums Collapsing block in the admin section , the shout box works 100% again.
To me this looks like they are conflicting with each other? or maybee i installed the Forums Collapsing block incorectly?

no, you probably did nothing wrong but ravens block (forum)has some javascript functions init.
And fact is that it can get into a conflict with another script,block or whatever..
But with a litle luck there's a workaround for it.
Just pm raven with a request to look into the stuff,but he's not feeling well at the moment Sad
Just send him a link to this topic..

This seems to usually work, but I can see where it might cause problems. Edit the collapsing block files. On or about line 177 findCode:
window.onload=start_ticking
and modify it to readCode:
start_ticking()

If that doesn't work, read these posts:
