In my experience it doesn't hurt anything on my sites using EDL 2.1 and GT-Nextgen, it just doesn't shorten the urls

I remember asking Mr GTNextGen the same question last year and he said it was a non-issue and not to worry, so I've moved on to other problems....

i am just wondering why my links are ending with #cat .. and btw i had problems with the links but now they're fix.

downloads-cat6.html#cat
should be
downloads-cat-6.html#cat
or
downloads-cat-6.html

if someone knows why, i would like to clean out the links if possible.

It's because the GT rules are not written correctly, but, it doesn't hurt anything as long as the links are working Smile
