Raven,

When I upgraded to 7.3 patched 3.0b, the main page of my site disappears! It just returns with "You can't acces this file directly ..."

My site was previously using 7.3 patched 2.8 and NukeSentinel 2.0.2

If it helps, this happens when I upload the header.php, index.php, mainfile.php and modules.php

Reverting to the previous versions of the above files, allowed the site to come back to normal.

Thanks!

Did you run the upgrade file or look into cvs for more recent fixes?

Yes, I ran the upgrade file and all seems OK. Actually I used phpmyadmin (I think that's what its called) to upgrade the db.

I used the download files here.

What is cvs? (Sorry, am a noob at this!)

Run phpinfo() and see if you have an entry, towards the bottom, for _SERVER["SCRIPT_NAME"] . Some hosts do not allow it and if that's the case, you will need to change all occurrences of _SERVER["SCRIPT_NAME"] to _SERVER["PHP_INFO"]

Raven,

Thanks, I'll go try it out now and get back here with the outcome.

Raven,

It has both _SERVER["SCRIPT_FILENAME"] and _SERVER["SCRIPT_NAME"]

what do you suggest next?

Thanks.
