Drop-down list problem

I am using PHPnuke Platinum; the latest version, which came with 4.4.0 b2 pre-installed.

I tried to create a new field with a drop down list of possible choices. Worked without a problem.

I added the next field, also with a drop-down list. The new field has the correct drop-down list, but the first field is now just a normal field.

I added a third field, this time as a normal field. It appears correctly, but now neither of the first two fields still have their drop-down lists.

So, I tried upgrading to the 4.4.0 final version, and after fixing a few cosmetic problems I tested it out again. Got the exact same results.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

Also, at the risk of confusing the issue, is their a reason why all the fields I create claim to be "required" even though they are, apparently, not required?

I can only say that I will test the issues you report against the 440 final install.
