I upgraded to 2.1.3 from 2.1.2 and now some blocks and part of page are not reading the db I assume I get displays like _LOGIN for login and _BREG for register in the header bar and also in some blocks, any ideas?

the sentinel upgrade itself goes without any problem.
what you are describing is more like a language problem..
check if _LOGIN and _BREG appear in your language files.
