I am trying to find out if there is module/ block that allows for purchases, preview of items purchased and so on. What I am looking for is a way to be able to sell items, keep track of them and who purchased them, and a shopping cart, and do all of it securely. Is there a way to accomplish this with Ravenuke? From what I have been reading, the last this was talked about was in 2011. Just trying to find out some information.

Currently not really! There are some very old modules with many security issues and that is not recommended to use. I have started for some months a rework of a shopping cart module but there are so many issues to fix to get the module on a current coding standard without all the security issues. I will wait on the next release of RN to release the rework.

This forum thread got off-topic in a way that was not productive for the original poster or anyone else coming into this thread. I moved out those posts and edited another only because I think it was misunderstood and taken in a wrong way.

I just respectfully ask that we keep the posting rules in mind, no personal attacks, keep posts on topic and helpful. If you feel that I have accidentally removed a good relevant point to the topic, my apologies. Do please feel free to repost the relevant aspects of the post.

Thanks to all and apologies to thumpn8974 for the temporary diversion.
