Hey guys, long time no see Wink

I just updated my site from 2.4 to 2.51 and immediatly received a ton of errors in all blocks/modules and headers that require a timestamp.
such functions failing were (and not limited to) :
mktime()
strtotime()

I'm sure you get the drift.
Well I fixed my copy when i noticed line 63 in mainfile.php
Code:
   date_default_timezone_set("UTC");

Where UTC was originally (in the distro) set to the USA locale.
My suggestion is, would it be better to avoid this possible failure by replacing that value with a variable that could be defined in either config.php or rnconfig.php ?
As I say, just a suggestion, and i hope it was a worthwhile one Smile
Cheers

You must only set the timezone in your php.ini and you don't need the change in the mainfile! Its only a fallback value.

Ok
I've got it set in my php.ini at server level. But i was scowling through the distro files yesterday and noticed this value, and it fixed a multitude of problems. Just thought it may have been something that was missed Smile
