I have a long question for FAQ module, how do I increase the question field set to take more letters and characters from the question?

You can go into phpMyAdmin and find the nuke_faqanswer table. Change the question type from varchar(255) to text. There may be other module level limits on it, but I didn't see any when I glanced over it. If that doesn't work, let me know and I take a deeper look.
