Is there anything I need to know before using/adding the attachment mod from the Portedmods.com site. I want to give my members the ability to upload pictures to the forums, and this mod looks like the only choice(?).

I downloaded the files, and am reading through the information with it. However, I wanted to make sure that I was installing it correctly, and find out if there are any security issues/patches/concerns that I should know about. I am using Raven's enhanced 7.0 version, with Sentinel.

Thanks in advance for the input!

In my case i have not heard of any issues with that mod aside from the fact that it's a bit hard to install.

From what I can see, it does indeed look difficult to install.

Has anyone here installed it, and is/was using it? I would love to know!

I've installed it.

If you're new to BBtoNuke modding you may want to try a few other mods first so you can get the feel of what you're doing.

REMEMBER, BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE MAKING CHANGES. Just so you don't make a mistake in the code and find your forums have died. Smile

When adding mods whenever the instructions call for replacing some code with another instead of replacing it i comment it out and add a comment so that i can roll back if need be.

Thanks, Guys. I always back up my databases and sites. I am a big one for covering my @kaching!!

Thanks for the commenting suggestion, Chatserv. I will try that.

I will let you all know if it works...I will have to work on it later this weekend, though. I am moving my mother into a nursing home this week, and have not been able to escape to geek-land as much as I would like!
