Hi,

Not sure how best to explain but I log in to my site, everything shows up as it should with my admin block top left with......

Administration

· Administration
· NEW Story
· Change Survey
· Content
· Logout

Now I navigate to my content pages and all of a sudden my Admin menus and it appears I am not logged in as admin when viewing content pages. I navigate back to home or admin.php and I am still logged in as admin.

This is causing havoc with editing content pages as my admin options do not appear when viewing content. I can edit the content I go to admin > content > manage content and then look for the correct page. This is really a pain to do as I used to be-able to go directly to edit mode when viewing the content page from the links on my home page.

I've tried numerous cookie settings with no luck

Since you have looked at cookie settings and know that these have to be enabled, my first guess would be something about your content database tables is not right. You don't say what version of RN you are running. 2.40.01? or what? There have been updates to the content tables over the last couple of releases.

I'd check my database logs in the rnlogs directory (dblog file) and there is a database comparison utility you can run in the UtilityFiles directory. The latest will compare your database against the "official" database definitions from 2.40.01. There is a readme file that explains how to run it.

I'm going to guess you are using firefox? If so, it may be pulling some old versions of the page from the browser cache when you were not logged in as admin. You can try another browser and/or the fixes listed here [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

of course it could be something else as well, let us know Wink
