Today I put my new project on which I work online.
It is a RavenNuke theme, based on the Yaml XHTML / CSS Framework.

This theme is 100% XHTML / CSS valid and tableless.
It includes skiplinks and is printer friendly.
The print version is working without the right and left blocks.
This theme is and works on browser accessibility for handicapped users.

The forums templates are complete tabless unless some tables for Smilies and Attachments.
The old forums temlates with tables based themes are up to 6 nested levels. This isn´t accessibility and search engine friendly.

I have programmed more than 15 templates completely revised and tableless.
The rest will follow in the next few days.
I hope by Christmas I may publish the first version.

When it is finished, I'll publish it for free and begin with a compatible mobile framework for smartphone like Iphone, HD2, Google PHone ( Nexus One) etc.

I know you are still working on, but I get a bunch of validation errors on the home page.

The following forums tabless are complete recoded.
They are all tabless unless index_body.tpl and viewforum_body.tpl ( I think it is meaningless to the forums list and topic list of tableless design.) and the smilies Part in posting_body.tpl . But there are no longer nesting tables. Smile

    index_body
    overall_footer
    overall_header
    viewforum_body
    jumpbox
    viewonline_body
    view_poll_ballot
    view_poll_result
viewtopic_body ( Begin Similar not yet processed)
    viewtopic_attach_body.tpl
    add_attachment_body.tpl
    posting_poll_body.tpl
    posting_body.tpl
    message_body.tpl
    posting_preview.tpl
    posting_topic_review.tpl
    bbcode.tpl
    confirm_body.tpl
    modcp_viewip.tpl
    profile_view_body.tpl

spiders, are you certain that the license is compatible with GPL2? Sorry... can't read German. Smile

This is pretty slick (both the tool and your theme). BTW, according to this, the license for YAML is Creative Commons Attribution 2 Germany (not sure if that conflicts with GPL 2).

HI,
For commercial use of the framework are two premium alternative licensing models available.

I will not use it commercially , I am releasing it for free Smile
I will also inform the YAML owners.

I cannot access that link for the demo, at least with FF 3.5.6. Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

NOw,
there is only 1 Error,
but this error isn´t an error Very Happy Very Happy

It´s a problem between XHTML validation and Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).

XHTML Role Attribute Module is not standard in W3C.
see more Information about this problem here:
[ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

and here:
[ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

and the next few forums templates are recoded:

error_body.tpl
agreement.tpl >> DELETE
faq_body.tpl
groupcp_info_body.tpl >> only 1 Table
search_username.tpl
groupcp_user_body.tpl
group_pending_info.tpl >> only 1 Table
login.tpl >> DELETE
memberlist_body.tpl

It is done Smile Smile

All forums template are complete recoded and optimized for XHTML / CSS Framework.

The last completed templates are online:

modcp_body.tpl >> 1 Table
modcp_split.tpl
modcp_move.tpl
posted_attachments_body.tpl
posting_attach_body.tpl
posting_attach_rules.tpl
posting_smilies.tpl
profile_send_email.tpl
profile_send_pass.tpl >> DELETE
simple_footer.tpl
simple_header.tpl
uacp_body.tpl >> DELETE
privmsgs_popup.tpl
privmsgs_body.tpl >> 1 Table
privmsgs_read_body.tpl
privmsgs_preview.tpl

Now, before I will publish the Theme, I'll still do some Optimization. I will then the Theme published to test it by the community.

cheers

HI,
I need help in troubleshooting.
I have a problem with textarea in e.g. posting_body.tpl

When I start a new post and click in the textarea, the cursor do not start in first line in first position.

Does anyone know the problem?
