Next Question:

Is it possible to include a timestamp on a page?

I have a page that i update regularly, tracking stocks. Currently i have to manually insert the time and date, to show viewers when it was last updated. is there a way to automate this?

cheers

How are you tracking when it was updated?

Once you address that, formatting the date is easy.

well currently... I read the info on a site, then i edit my page and enter the time that i edited it. It then passes through some vars to echo it.

Code:
//**********************************************

// Time update area                           //
//**********************************************
$time = "@ 22:50" ;
$zone = " BST";
$day = "Saturday ";
$date = "20th ";
$month = "September ";
$year = "2008 ";
// End of update area                        //
