Everytime my users try to register, they get the activation email, and when they click on the link and go back to the site to log in nothing happens. It says registration error and sometimes password and username not recognised.

When I try to post in the forum it tells me only admins can post, I am the admin. It wont even let me post as God User in the forum.

One user tried to re-register and although not showing in the member list, was told his email was already in use.

The site is in a sub folder called main and I've edited profile.php so that it reads

$script_name = 'main\forums.html?file=profile';

instead of

$script_name = 'forums.html?file=profile';

but that hasn't made any difference.

I'm afraid I'm not brilliant at editing code or fault finding so any help would be much appreciated.

It's a site for over 50's but I have a lot of really elderly people so getting people to check it out is a bit of a nightmare as not many of them are that computer savvy.

I've used phpNuke before but never tried Raven's Nuke, this is the first time. I'm using the 2.10 version which I downloaded a couple days ago.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

here's the url if anyone wants to take a look see

Make sure the Site URL in your Preferences is correct. You should not need any coding changes

Thank you for your reply.

The site url in my preferences is [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

I can see my members pending registration confirmation but they're not able to log in. I've now disabled the grfx check but don't know what else I can do so they can log in successfully.

Sorry I'm such a plank.

muddles, that URL is not correct. Within ACP -> Preferences, use the following:
[ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

And, in ACP -> Forums -> Configuration, use:
[ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

In other words, drop the index.php and preceeding slash.
