Wish List: Zip Locator

It would be neat to have a zip locator so clients with multiple locations could assist their users in locating the nearest store to their location. I understand the end user would need to do a lot of input.

Zip Locator? Seems like it would be some code that you could connect to Google Maps. They have an extensive API and street addressing system.

Already use it for driving directions it plugs in real easy will nose around and see.

Hi,

I am trying to help a church to build something which would be similar to that or any of the store locator we see around web sites.

I would like to have a module where i could registry all the churchs with their datas as Name, Address, Phones, Day of Operation, etc...

Then the module would show this list but the user could do a search to list all the chruchs/stores on a specific state for instance.

How difficult would that be?

Here is a link for a download of a Module called Yellow Pages. It might meet your needs. It is supposed to work on phpnuke 7.x but I have not tried it.

From my understanding, it will store all the information you wanted and has a mapquest link for each.
