I have been looking around for a while, but cant find the answer i need,

prior to updating to RN 76 v2.02.00.
when i wanted to creat a new theme, all i did was copy the contents of a theme "lets say Odyssey", into a new folder. then change the name and all instances of Odyssey in the theme files and it worked. but now im getting errors, is there something new ive missed.

the errors are:

Warning: include_once(themes/Freelance/theme.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\Inetpub\phpnuke\mainfile.php on line 1005

Some themes have the theme name hard coded in references to files in the theme's directory. Could is your copied theme now called Freelance? Or is that the theme you copied from?

I have changed all refrances from the old theme name, to the new theme name "freelance", in the theme folder.

Looks like you're on Windows, so the capital F in the theme directory name shouldn't matter, but on Linux, you would need to change the name to lowercase.

That assumes that the problem is still occurring...

OK so its a permission thing with M$ SBS, DOH.
Solved.
anyone with the same problem, you need to check the permissions of the new theme once you have added it to your site folder.
