you could change that in your database...

table nuke_bbtopics

> > topic_title char(60) < <

change 60 to what you like..

Thanks, hitwalker!
This is the backend. Frontend is in themes\YOUR_THEME\forums\posting_body.tpl

Misha, hitwalker is referring to you increasing the size of the field in the database, as he believes that is what is truncating the topic title. You could try increasing that and see if you can get longer titles...

Thanks, Montego.

I guess I did not express it clear enough - the problem is solved with hitwalker's hint.

Yes, the database modification he pointed out is necessay to solve this, but it provides only half of the solution. The other half is to edit themes\YOUR_THEME\forums\posting_body.tpl and replace maxlength="60" with say "80" (should match database change). That is what I meant.

Since hitwalker did not do any follow-up, I assume he is on the same page with me Smile
Thanks, guys

OH, ok. Yes, I did not follow. I thought we were still not connecting all the dots. Laughing

Glad we were able to help.
