Hi, I've made upgrade for NS 5.0.2. Since, a few users has been blocked with message "You have attempted to access this site with an invalid User Agent.

User Agent: none
Remote Address: 83.134.266.128 (*)
Client IP: none
Forwarded For: none"

(*) this is not a valid IP to protect this user, I changed it.

I've seen thta this line cause problem:
Code:
if($nsnst_const['user_agent']=="none" AND !stristr($_SERVER['PHP_SELF'], "backend.php") AND ($nsnst_const['remote_ip'] != $nsnst_const['server_ip'])) {

  echo abget_template("abuse_invalid2.tpl");
  die();
}

His Ip has not in any blocked range or ip database except in IP2COUNTRY

Any Idea ?

Thanks

I would ask him what browser he is using or he could be using some software / firewall that is hiding his user agent.

Hi, Yes I've ask them about that.
Any Browser but they used Norton Firewall or Internet security. I've ask them to cut off for test and it works. The problem ise identified but not solved. We can't ask them to cut firewall before going on our website.
If anybody has found the parameters needed...

Thanks

Not having used this specific tool, I am not sure of the settings. But, I would think that there would be a "site exclusion" list or the reverse a "white list" for known "good" sites... But someone is going to have to look for it.

I'm not sure about that. It seems this program hide "User agent" of the browser or something like that.
