Invisible block

This has prob been asked before but I'm not sure what this is called so can't find it via search...

How do you make a block that is "invisible" ie will display the content but not its border/block images, like the google add block on this site on the main page half way down?

hmm .. I don't know how else to explain it.

Like the google search box on the main page of this site half way down.
You can't see the box it's in but you can see the content ... make sence?

ah i see,but thats a bit customised...
raven put that search at the end of his news module in the file itself..

Ah ok, that's a shame I was in hope that there was a way to have an invisible block on my site ... oh well thanks hitwalker.
