Unable to create categories in downloads - EDL2.1

Im not sure if its me or Ravens76v2.02.02 - I tried to install Nukestyles EDLv21 Enhanced Downloads Module - V2.1 - ended up with a bunch of error messages whenever attepmting to access admin download area - wiped that version of php nuke clean off the server installed new copy & now I am not able to create categories in the regular nuke downloads. Everything else on the site is working fine otherwise.

Any ideas what to do?

is any table altered when you installed the edl ?
if so you have to undo that...
