Well, I upgraded to Nukesentinel 2.5.05 and no errors were reported. I checked the Tracked IPs, just clicking around the upgrade, and it said no IPs in database. OK, so what? Then I clicked into Maintenance and ran the Optimize database and I noticed an error there
Quote:

nuke_nsnst_tracked_ips Table is marked as crashed and last repair failed

So I clicked Repair database and got
Quote:

nuke_nsnst_tracked_ips Table 'xxxxxxxx_nuke.EXTENDED' doesn't exist

Of course that doesn't exist but to make sure I went to phpmyadmin and looked at the structure and got
Quote:

Error
SQL query:

SHOW INDEX FROM `nuke_nsnst_tracked_ips` ;

MySQL said:

#1016 - Can't open file: 'nuke_nsnst_tracked_ips.MYI' (errno: 144)

I tried to drop the table but got that error again. Where is this s***t coming from? All the other Sentinel tables are proper, it is just this tracked_ips table that is off. I need some code to plug into phpmyadmin to drop the 2.5.05 tracked_ips table and create it again. Thanks very.

its not realy my field but thats corrupted and if im not mistaken you cannot repair it yourself...bit out of range.

you can't repair the corruption because myisamchk command to repair the database is outputting seg fault (core dump) messages indicating hardware causing corruption.

Best thing to do is to contact your host and ask to repair it..

There is no hardware issue. It's simply a corrupted index file. I used phpMyAdmin and ran a repair on the table and it fixed it as it's supposed to Smile

southern,

How far back do we go? I have an email from you on 8/30/2003 for a hosting quote, but I'm pretty sure we were aquainted before that.

If so it must be under other pseudonyms elsewhere on the net but I can't recall where. Our current webhost-client association goes back to August 2003 and officially October of that year, as near as my few brain cells can figure. May there be many more years. Smile

Just for safey's sake I've run the upgrader on several databases and find no indications that it was caused by it. If any one else finds a problem let me know.
