posting problems in forum

Just starting to get posting bot showing up.Everyday I am getting 3 or 4 new posters in on post and it is all stupid stuff some have ads with it.

Banning IP# but like to do more then one by one banning.
The IPs Ranges are all the over the place so no IP Range blocking.

The last one used an proxy IP.(203.144.144.164
proxy.asianet.co.th)
Had Rusia
German
USA IPs

Is there a way to block all Proxy?
I had my forum open for none members to post with out registering because I never had a problem before.
Tryed to add regitration for posters but had no effect people still can post, double and trible checked config.Must be missing something.

Raven's RavenNuke76 v2.02.02 Distro Full version with Sentinel.

Took care of the forum settings finaly found the settings.Now you have to register to post hope that will help.

Yes I've seen a lot of spammers recently, I'm not sure how they are doing it, but they seem to get through the character recognition steps pretty easily.

Forcing them to register will help, but it won't completely stop it. I regularly see spammers register just to post forum or comment spam. Really pathetic. It helps to disallow the changing of the email address so you know the spammers true address. And Guardian2003's comment module helps clean up the mess.

It is really stupid stuff the ones without any ads or links wont make any cents at all.
Will check Sentinel to see what my settings are.

i had thought of banning proxies in sentinel, but heard that aol users could be affected. in the uk i'd imagine almost a third of would use aol - they are usually the first to lower their pricing and offer freebies.
