Hey guys.
I've got a problem & not sure how to solve it with regards a scrolling banner block & a new banner that I want to add into it that uses javascript.
Basically my online gaming clan has a few affiliate partners that helps generates some cash back for the clan whenever someone uses the clickable link on our website (RavenDistro btw) & purchases something.
Anyway, one of our affiliates (Amazon.co.uk) doesn't use HTML adverts like all our other affiliates as they use their own `Associate` scheme, but their adverts uses javascript.
Now I've tried to add in their code into the scrolling banner block but it will just not work no matter what I try, so I'm a bit stumped.
The text file below shows part of the Banner Scroll code that I'm trying to get the Amazon javascript code into.
Problem Code Text File <<<< Click me
Anyone any idea on haw to get the Amazon code into the Banner code & working???
I wish Amazon would use HTML code like all the others would make it so much easier...lol.
Thanks for any help. |

The code in the text file is an extract from the script, not the whole script.
There are about 20 or so affiliate adverts,if it was just one then I'd just stick it into the header but it's to go in with the others in the scrolling block.
Sorry if that confused you but I didn't see any reason to add in the whole file. |

start with....
Code:<marquee width="468" height="60" direction="down" scrolldelay="180" scrollamount="3">
|
javastuff here...
end with.....

I've added a small extract from the existing block that I use, created by someone else so you can see how it works.
Example of block code text
If you visit [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] then you will see the banner scroll in the middle of the index with all the other working Affiliates but I can't get the Amazon one to integrate at all.
p.s. The webby looks great in Firefox, but shocking in IE. |

Well maybe I am but no matter how I try to integrate the code it doesn't work, that's why I asked.
Oh & thanks for the advice on the website.....each to their own I suppose. |
