I liked to add a picture code to my site (the code when you put in letters & numbers)
I didn't found anything about it.

You are talking about a "Captcha". PHP-Nuke has one built in for logins. You turn it on via your config.php file (has instructions in it).

However, I suspect you are wanting something more? If so, there is no active development that I am aware of to improve upon the core nuke captcha system.

Addditional and better captcha systems is certainly an area I am interested in as part of my own general 'Spam Stopper' project. However, it will be many months before I can return anything worthwhile back to the community.
First I have to gain an understanding of how current captcha's can be worked around using current optical recognition systems.

I do have something in mind that would easily prevent OCR systems from getting around the displayed captcha but I currently lack the knowledge of how to implement it.

Hey Guardian what would that be? Besides blurring or obscuring the text until neither computer nor human can read, it seems OCR systems have gotten a lot smarter.

I would be happy to share the concept in exchange for feedback if you want to email me but suffice to say it doesn't involve the use of alphanumeric characters.

Ah, some form of cognitive recognition? That is probably about the best concept going right now in my opinion. (but my opinion isn't worth much....)

I have emailed Evaders my thoughts and await his thoughts.
Its not a secret, I just do not want to give OCR developers a head start by publicly tipping my hand - and I have no idea even if my concept is 'do-able' until Evaders emails me back.
