Some web pages have a logo in the address bar instead of the default logo. I have not been able to find out how to do this nor the requirements of, for the graphic itself.
Can anyone help out there?

You're probably referring to the favicon.ico file. See this post [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]
