Custom Static Block Href Image Disappears

I created a simple, static custom block containing an image (calendar jpeg for a given month) with an href to another site's page hosting a calendar application. Here's the content assignment:

All is well when I first access the site but the image disappears after a few refreshes. I have tried various mods to this code and deactivate/activate. When I remove the href, the image is displayed and seems to stick around. Add the href back and, eventually, the same problem. A search of the site has turned up some things, all of which I tried to no avail. Thanks for the help.

try using the full url for the image..

The image was visible until I closed the browser and re-opened it when the image was once again gone. Very frustrating indeed! Thanks for your help...I appreciate it.

mmm,can you provide a link to see this...
just to rule out it isnt your browser.......
