Flood Please Help

Hi....

In the past few days i have noticed that I have 100+ new registerd users on my site DAILY. But when I look closley it looks like somebody is flooding my site. the usernames appear to be fake and start with fisher2345 andre5489 mike336 alex4509 and so on. How can I stop this I have tyryed to ban all the Ip's but every username has a diffrent Ip adress and it dosent make any sense.

I'm using php nuke 7.6 with pached from Chatserv 3.1 I also runn Nuke Senitel 2.4.2pl2 installed by Raven.

Can anybody help me or suggest what I should do.

If you check the forums here, you'll, pun intended, a flood of people experiencing this problem. Most likely, the goal is to use the users to post spam comments on your news stories or other content.

You may also notice that these are limited to several domains, and if you look, you'll find a couple of solutions that allow you to prevent registration for specific domains.

Upgrade you nukesentinel version because the pl8 is an important upgrade ! The security code can´t stop this really I believe. What are the registered emails for the fake users ?
Maybe banning with cidr helps don´t know.
